The Ringneck Creamino (Psittacula krameri) is a particularly popular and striking color mutation of the Indian Ringneck Parrot. It belongs to the subspecies Psittacula krameri manillensis, and is distinguished by its unique combination of pale yellow plumage and a scarlet beak. The Creamino mutation is a combination of the Blue gene and the Lutino gene. While the Albino has white plumage, the Creamino has a cream or light yellow color due to the presence of carotenoids. Gender: Not easily distinguished without a DNA test, especially in young individuals.
