The ringneck is a medium-sized parrot with an elegant line. You will easily distinguish it from its vibrant red beak, long, thin tail and steady gaze that constantly “searches” the environment. As a total length, estimate approximately 38–42 cm (including the tail) and a weight of around 120–140 g. Its classic color is a pure, intense green that looks even brighter in the sun, while we also find mutations such as blue, yellow or opal. With proper care and routine, its life expectancy usually reaches 25–30 years. If you have children or other pets, consider that it needs a quiet resting place and a little “distance” when it gets tired.
