The Eastern Rosella is a parrot native to Australia and New Zealand. It prefers forested areas with dense vegetation. In the wild, it feeds on various seeds, herbs, fruits and insects. Their size ranges around 30 cm and they are very intelligent, but curious birds. Their breeding begins at the age of 1.5 to 2 years and they lay around 5-7 eggs.
