Hahn’s Macaw
The Hahn’s Macaw (also known as the Noble Macaw) is the smallest representative of the macaws. It comes from Northern South America and stands out for its calm temperament, high intelligence and ability to speak. Extremely sociable and bonded with the owner.
An intelligent parrot that easily learns tricks. It can speak clearly and memorize words and phrases. It is suitable for both beginners and more experienced owners.
Appearance characteristics: Green plumage with blue shades on the wings, Black beak.
In the wild, it feeds on: Fruits, Seeds, Nuts, Berries
As a pet, ideal: High-quality seed mix or pellets, Variety of fresh vegetables (e.g. pepper, carrot, broccoli), Fruit in smaller quantities, Avoid foods with salt, sugar or processing.
The Hahn’s Macaw needs daily contact and activity to remain balanced:
Needs 2–4 hours of daily interaction
